The Pakistani delegation led by the Prime Minister of Pakistan will leave for Geneva today

The climatically strong Pakistan conference is being held in Geneva tomorrow, Monday, January 9, in which the Pakistani delegation led by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will leave for Geneva today, Sunday, January 8.


On the occasion of the world conference, the Prime Minister of Pakistan will also have sideline meetings with world leaders.


The delegation will include federal ministers and other officials including special assistants. The Prime Minister has contacted the leaders of various countries and invited them to participate in the conference.


Pakistan has invited more than 40 countries including Qatar, UAE, Malaysia, Turkey, Kuwait and China to the conference.


6 heads of state have assured participation in the conference, while 8 countries have indicated to send ministerial delegations.


Many international financial institutions including IMF, World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, European Development Bank, ADB and UN Development Program will also participate in the conference.


The Climate Resilient Pakistan Conference will be jointly hosted by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres. On the occasion of the conference, the Prime Minister is also expected to meet with various world leaders.
