The second Test match between Pakistan and New Zealand also ended without a result, the series of two Test matches ended 0-0. 

Chasing 319 runs, Pakistan scored 304 runs for the loss of 9 wickets, the match was called off 3 overs early due to bad light. 

Naseem Shah remained not out with 15 and Abrar Ahmed with 7 runs, Sarfaraz Ahmed was dismissed for 118 runs in a total score of 287 after bringing Pakistan close to victory. 

At the score of 282, Pakistan's eighth wicket fell when Hasan Ali got out by scoring 5 runs, Agha Salman got out by scoring 30 runs at the total score of 273, and Saud Shakeel returned to the pavilion by scoring 32 runs at a total score of 203.

Pakistan's top order proved to be a wall of sand in front of the Kiwi bowlers, half of Pakistan's team returned to the pavilion on 80 runs, Imam-ul-Haq 12, Shaan Masood 35, Babar Azam, 27 were out by scoring 5 wickets till the lunch break. 125 runs were scored. 

In the final moments of the fourth day on Thursday, when Pakistan started their second innings, Pakistan's two wickets fell for nil, Abdullah Shafiq and Mir Hamza falling victim to Ash Sodhi without opening their account. 

On the fourth day of the Karachi Test, New Zealand declared their second innings 277 runs for the loss of 5 wickets and gave Pakistan a target of 319 runs to win. 

Pakistan team was bowled out for 408 runs in their first innings and New Zealand took the lead of 41 runs. New Zealand scored 449 runs for 10 wickets in their first innings.

The second and final match of the Test series between New Zealand and Pakistan was played at the National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi.
