PML-N has challenged the amendment of the law on the use of government helicopters in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the Peshawar High Court.
The opposition has approached the court against the helicopter bill passed by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government passed a law last month to keep the details of the use of government helicopters secret since 2008, against which PML-N parliamentary leader Sardar Yusuf has filed a writ in the Peshawar High Court.
Speaking to the media after applying, Sardar Yusuf said that many amendments made for personal interest are illegal, the government had passed this law on the bill of the majority, which the provincial government amended the law last year. 14 years of helicopter use have been justified.
The League leader said that people cannot buy ration while the government helicopter will be used for sightseeing, wherever the people are affected we will come out in the field.
