A new series of western winds will enter Balochistan today

The Meteorological Department had predicted that a new system of western winds will enter Balochistan from January 7, which will bring rain in some districts of Balochistan, while cold winds are likely to prevail in Karachi after the western system moves to Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the spokesperson of the Meteorological Department, the western winds will enter the areas of North Balochistan from today and will show their effect in the upper areas during the next two days.
According to the Department of Meteorology, in the next 24 hours, the weather will remain cold and dry in Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan, while the weather in Islamabad is likely to remain cold and partly cloudy.
The Meteorological Department says that light rain and snowfall are expected in Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir, while upper regions and North Balochistan will remain under the grip of severe cold.
According to the spokesperson of the Meteorological Department, heavy fog will continue in the plains of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh, and in the meantime, there is a possibility of fog in the Potohar region in the morning.
Meteorological Department says that the intensity of cold has increased in Quetta, after the temperature of the city was recorded at minus 6 degrees Celsius, standing water on the roads has turned into snow.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature in Kalat and Ziarat has been recorded as minus 7 degrees Celsius.
The Department of Meteorology has predicted rain in Balochistan from yesterday evening to January 9, saying that the rain system will enter most of the districts of the province from tomorrow, and the rains will continue till January 9, after which the upper regions and especially Karachi.
