Army Chief General Asim Munir has met Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammad Bin Salman


General Asim Munir took over the duties of Army Chief in November last year. General Asim Munir has made his first foreign visit to Saudi Arabia after assuming the leadership of Pakistan Army.


During his visit, General Asim Munir held meetings with the Saudi leadership and top military officials.




According to Saudi Arabia's official media, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman welcomed General Asim Munir to the Al Ala winter camp.


The Army Chief was accompanied by Major General Mohammad Irfan, Pakistani Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Amir Khurram Rathore and Military Attaché at the Pakistani Embassy Brigadier Mohammad Asim.


During the meeting, Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman, National Security Adviser Dr. Musaed bin Muhammad Al-Aiban and other important ministers were also present.


Prince Muhammad bin Salman congratulated General Asim Munir on becoming the Army Chief and expressed his best wishes.


On this occasion, bilateral relations and opportunities to further promote them were reviewed. Apart from this, matters of common interest and security matters were also discussed.
