The price of gold rose by Rs 3300 per tola, breaking all previous records once again.
Gold prices remained unchanged in the international bullion market, but gold prices broke all previous records on the first business day of the new year in Pakistani bullion markets.
On Monday, the price of gold per tola and ten grams rose sharply by Rs 3,300 and Rs 2,829 respectively in local bullion markets, touching a new all-time high.
As a result of the increase in prices, the price of gold per tola in the bullion markets of Karachi, Hyderabad, Multan, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Peshawar, and Quetta is Rs. reached a new high.
In the local bullion markets, the price of silver per tola increased by Rs. 30 to Rs. 2100, while ten grams of silver rose by Rs. 25.71 to reach the level of Rs. 1,800 and 41 paise.
