On the part of famous Pakistani actress Hajra Yameen working with actor Mohsin Abbas, it has been revealed that unique roles for women in the industry are limited and whenever they get this opportunity, they will not let it go.
Hajra Yameen and Mohsin Abbas will be seen together in the new Pakistani web series Sewak. Hajra will play the role of an Indian reporter named Vidya in the series while Mohsin will be seen as a Sikh.
In a recent interview, Hajra was asked why she agreed to work with Mohsin.
He replied that there is a lack of unique roles for women in our industry. Now if she gets the chance to do something unique instead of the usual damsel in distress, she will do it.
She further said that she will never leave her professional work and if she gets a good role, she will take advantage of the opportunity.
However, she will consider avoiding going to award shows or events to which such people will be invited.
Mohsin Abbas
was accused of domestic violence against his ex-wife a few years ago. After this most of the people in the industry refused to work with him. Recently, the host Rabia Anam refused to sit with him on a morning show.
