The Pakistan Cricket Board has appealed against giving D-merit points to Rawalpindi's pitch. The PCB has taken the stand that the pitch was given demerit points as opposed to the demerit points system.
In the match played between Pakistan and England, the pitch of Rawalpindi stadium was declared substandard by ICC and given de merit point.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has appealed to the International Cricket Council (ICC) against the Rawalpindi pitch being given demerit points, in which the stand has been taken that the Rawalpindi pitch was given demerit points against the procedure. The bounce on the Rawalpindi Stadium pitch was uneven.
The PCB further states that not all aspects of being classified as below average are complete.
England also won the series against Pakistan, including the Rawalpindi Test.
