The Anti-Terrorism Department Punjab was active against cybercrime last year across the country, in this regard CTD Punjab has sent the 2022 performance report to the government.
The report states that in 2022, CTD conducted 1,225 undercover operations, and arrested 244 terrorists, saving Punjab from major terrorism.
The report also states that CTD's investigation wing made 246 more arrests after identifying the arrested accused.
According to the report, in 2022, CTD traced 2,529 cases through social media and arrested 114 accused involved in harassment, while blocking more than 74,000 pages and websites.
CTD officials say that CTD is using all resources effectively in the war against terrorism.
